Obituary of Willie Frank Allen
Graveside services for Willie Frank Allen, former Arp resident, will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Mason Cemetery, in Arp, with Reverend Terry Davis officiating.
Mr. Allen died at his residence in Tyler, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the age of 86 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. He was born July 2, 1928 in Tyler to the late Emory and Lillian Weathington Allen. He married Doris Lorene Buckmaster on June 17, 1949.
Mr. Allen retired from Tyler Pipe after 25 years. He was a Thirty Second Degree Mason and a lifetime member of Lodge 98 in Arp .
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Doris Allen, of Tyler; two daughters and son in law, Joyce & Keith Calmes, of Tyler and Vicki & Wendell Tallant, of Tyler; two brothers, Jimmie C. Allen, of Tyler and Billy Wayne Allen, of Arp; five grandchildren, Scott and Laurie Barton, Keith and Lynn Barton, Mark and Cori Allen, Heather and Brian Diederich, and Nikki and John Clark; thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Barton, Keith Barton, Mark Allen, and Brian Diederich.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to, Hospice Connection, 1820 Shiloh Rd. Suite 1105, Tyler, Texas 75703.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 25.
