We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part.
We have you in our hearts.
I will miss you, Aunt Linda.

It is impossible to think of Linda without thinking of her smile, her sense of humor and her love of cooking! Linda said she always adds something to a recipe to make it "her own" and if you ever had any of her cooking you would know she did. She loved working at Jalapeno Tree in Jacksonville. This is where Linda could entertain her guests as well as serve them. She would tell me so many stories about her "call parties" that would come to Jalapeno Tree mainly to see her, it wasn't always about the food, lunch with Linda was beyond compare! The connection to her customers was the one thing she deeply missed when she could no longer work. Linda was loved and admired by many and will be missed! Linda was my older sister by 16 months, we had our moments of competition as sisters do, but the love admiration and gratitude was always there. Linda, you were my last living sibling, and I will miss you more than I can say. You are back with Mom & Dad and free of any pain. I love you sis!

I am so sad to hear about sweet Linda!! ;) She was the main reason I would go to Jalapeno Tree! I loved the "abuse" she gave you and always loved seeing her smile. I moved to CO almost 7 yrs ago but I would always go and visit her for lunch when I came back to TX for a visit. I will miss seeing her and hearing her laugh. Prayers for comfort for all.
