Obituary of Pansy Louise Heath

Services for Pansy Louise Heath, 84, New London, will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 14, in the Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home chapel, Overton, with Reverend Earl ‘Buddy’ Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery, near Henderson. Mrs. Heath died Thursday, September 11, 2014, in a Tyler hospital. She was born October 8, 1929 in Corsicana to the late Jim and Jane Ivy Wilson. Pansy was a graduate of the London Class of 1948 and attended East Texas Baptist College. She married Ray Heath April 28, 1951 in New London and was a homemaker. She was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church, Kilgore. Besides her parents, Mrs. Heath was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Heath on September 8, 2008, two brothers, Ralph Wilson and Bob Wilson, a sister, Jimmie Richardson, a brother-in-law, Norman Trainer, a sister-in-law, Dee Wilson, and a great grandson, Logan Ray Gill. Survivors include a son, Bob Heath, Angleton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Jim Poole and LeAnn and Rodney Bazar, all of Overton; a sister, Nancy Trainer, Dickinson; a sister-in-law, Pat Wilson, Tyler; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Marie Grosdidier, Doris Jordan, Verla Copeland, Doris Whistler, Judy Tipton, the London Class of 1948 and numerous other friends. Pallbearers will be grandsons Ben Heath, Wade Bazar, Adam Beever, Heath Poole, Mike Gill, and James Potter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Saturday, September 13, 2014. Mrs. Heath’s children would like to extend a very special ‘Thank You’ to Atria Copeland in Tyler for the excellent care given to their mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105-3678 or the charity of your choice.
